Associate, Skip Tracing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Identify the most reputable address to locate the client's collateral or customer.

• Assess whether customers possess special statuses such as Bankruptcy or Active-Duty Military.

• Generate effective leads and contacts for Recovery Agents utilizing all available resources.

• Maintain regular communication with Recovery Agents through phone, email, and recovery systems.

• Verify FHF's lien-holder status of the collateral being pursued.

• Evaluate and analyze credit applications and internal documents to ascertain location.

• Assign or reassign repossession orders after confirming addresses, employment, or other leads.

• Ensure adherence to relevant state and federal codes, regulations, and laws.

• Report independently identified trends in recovery data for FHF's proprietary underwriting model.

• Make outbound follow-up calls to vendors to confirm recovery requirements.

• Stay informed about state legislation related to impound requirements and notification guidelines.

• Comply with FHF's compliance requests and standards.

• Ensure that leads and information are acknowledged and pursued appropriately.

• Safeguard the confidentiality of company operations, portfolio, customer information, and technology.

• Carry out administrative tasks and additional duties as assigned by management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrates a stable career history.

• Experience in banking or collections.

• A mandatory minimum of 1+ years of recent Skip Tracing experience in auto recovery.

• A Bachelor's degree is preferred and/or equivalent work experience.

• Familiarity with the auto finance sector.

• Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm EST schedule.
