This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Promote and market primary care products to healthcare providers in the designated territory.
• Stimulate demand, provide clinical education, and drive sales by crafting, coordinating, and executing a strategic business plan for primary care physicians.
• Inform healthcare professionals about clinical evidence, approved indications, and the efficacy and safety profiles of products to facilitate appropriate on-label prescribing.
• Independently enhance sales performance while ensuring that forecasts and assigned budgets either meet or exceed expectations.
• Cultivate and strengthen relationships with primary care healthcare professionals and pharmacy personnel.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of market trends, demographic data, and managed care information relevant to the assigned territory.
• Promote the appropriate use of approved primary care products and drive payer and community healthcare-provider engagement alongside cross-functional partners.
• Collaborate with the District Sales Manager and Regional Sales Director to develop local strategies and business plans.
• Execute targeting plans utilizing promotional, digital, personnel, and analytical resources.
• Anticipate and navigate business opportunities and challenges drawing on knowledge of the primary care market, competitors, industry trends, and cross-functional insights.
• Deliver specialized education to healthcare providers through compliant initiatives.
• Provide strategic and tactical insights to commercial colleagues.
• Prioritize physician engagement through both in-person and virtual interactions.
• Address customer product and business requirements while upholding company ethics and compliance standards.
• Identify obstacles to achieving goals and recommend responsible solutions.
• Manage customer objections and surpass their expectations.
• Share exemplary skills with regional colleagues in a training capacity when necessary.
• Leverage new technologies and continually enhance proficiency.
• Adhere to pharmaceutical industry guidelines and regulations.
• BS/BA degree is mandatory.
• A demonstrated history of success in a professional capacity, academics, or extracurricular pursuits.
• A minimum of 3+ years of prior sales experience is required for the Sales Representative position.
• A proven record of sustained high performance in a sales-oriented role or other relevant experience is preferred.
• Previous sales experience in pharmaceuticals, healthcare, medical devices, or related transferable sales experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to establish long-term relationships is essential.
• Capability to work autonomously and manage multiple clients effectively.
• Commitment to ethical behavior and compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
• Strong understanding of the primary care market and healthcare industry is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with the medical, healthcare, primary care, or pharmacy sectors and clinical skills is preferred.
• Experience in product launches is an advantage.
• Knowledge of the territory and established relationships with key stakeholders are beneficial.
• Proficiency in Veeva CRM, Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and calendar-based call planning tools is a plus.
• Experience in marketing, financial processes, Market Access, Project Management, and knowledge of the regulatory environment within biotech/pharma is a plus.
• Strong written, organizational, administrative, and communication abilities.

• Attend refresher meetings for updates on products and disease states.
• Significant field travel is expected, approximately 80%, including potential overnight and weekend work.
• Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record and the ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
• Valid licenses and credentialing are required to conduct business in the assigned territory.
