Associate Project Manager – Solution Delivery

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Enhance team capabilities through the analysis of project data, logistics, and project coordination.

• Utilize Smartsheet, Salesforce, ServiceMax, and SAP as key data sources.

• Propose, collaborate on, negotiate, present, and publish reports and dashboards.

• Drive efficiencies and effectiveness in project methodologies, KPIs, and objectives.

• Oversee Clinical Laboratory Customer Implementation Projects from contract signing to project completion.

• Set clear expectations with both internal and external customers prior to contracts for informatics migrations and assigned projects.

• Lead project initiatives while gathering, organizing, and distributing project and program metadata, including risks, issues, revenue recognition forecasts, and lessons learned.

• Create and communicate comprehensive project plans to project teams, internal leadership, and customer stakeholders.

• Compile and maintain project schedules.

• Conduct regular internal and external project team meetings to track and control progress.

• Provide updates to internal stakeholders regarding project status, trends, and forecasts.

• Ensure accurate and timely weekly inputs of project data.

• Advise customers on managing organizational change.

• Identify and communicate project and organizational risks.

• Collaborate with local sales and service teams to facilitate sustainable product placement.

• Participate in sessions aimed at continuous improvement.

• Organize project resource availability and allocations.

• Interact with Waters departments to manage cross-functional processes and resolve issues impacting customers.

• Support the business objectives of sales partners.

• Benchmark customer processes through business reviews to identify opportunities for process improvement and differentiated service.

• Manage customer expectations through formal business reviews and informal communications or visits.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in life sciences, business, or engineering.

• A minimum of 1 year of clinical laboratory experience or its equivalent.

• Experience in project management within a technical or laboratory customer environment.

• Demonstrated knowledge of the US Clinical Laboratory Diagnostics or Healthcare Industry.

• Familiarity with Standard Laboratory Practices and the Laboratory Regulatory environment (CAP, CLIA, COLA).

• Proven leadership skills shown in cross-functional projects, teams, and programs.

• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation abilities.

• Consistent professionalism in interactions with customers and across teams.

• Proficiency in risk and escalation management as well as conflict resolution.

• Understanding of Project Management, Risk Management, and Change Management methodologies.

• Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

• Experience with laboratory instrumentation, automation systems, and informatics is preferred.

• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is preferred.

• An advanced degree in a relevant field is preferred.

• Knowledge or certification in LEAN/Six Sigma is preferred.
