This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia.

πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Assist the Enterprise Project Management Office (PMO) by overseeing small projects under guidance.

β€’ Support the Project Manager in updating project documentation and managing schedules for larger initiatives.

β€’ Execute established Great Minds processes and procedures in line with industry best practices across various projects.

β€’ Develop, update, and oversee necessary project documentation.

β€’ Create and sustain detailed project plans and schedules in Smartsheet, including dependencies.

β€’ Identify and manage project risks, formulating risk mitigation strategies.

β€’ Oversee change requests under supervision, which includes documenting scope alterations and negotiating timeline adjustments.

β€’ Track expenses against the project budget and communicate variances to stakeholders.

β€’ Generate project-specific reports and dashboards.

β€’ Organize project meetings.

β€’ Establish project Slack channels.

β€’ Foster working relationships with cross-functional professionals throughout the organization.

β€’ Provide additional project support as required.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ At least 1 year of experience in managing cross-functional projects.

β€’ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PPT), Microsoft SharePoint, or similar collaboration software.

β€’ Strong analytical and interpersonal communication skills.

β€’ Familiarity with project management principles and, preferably, Smartsheet or comparable project management tools.

β€’ Excellent organizational skills.

β€’ Capability to manage activities for multiple projects concurrently.

β€’ Demonstrated personal accountability, urgency, and persistence in delivering high-quality work.

β€’ Ability to foster a supportive environment across different departments.

β€’ Maintain a positive, professional demeanor under tight deadlines and with competing priorities.

β€’ Proven success in both independent and collaborative work.

β€’ Flexibility in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

β€’ Open to feedback with a focus on reflective practice.
