This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Provides support and services for the Investment Operations function catering to BMO’s business stakeholders and clients.

• Implements investment product and service processes while complying with financial and regulatory controls along with operational guidelines.

• Offers advice to designated business groups regarding solution implementation.

• Aids in strategic initiatives involving both internal and external stakeholders.

• Oversees the project management of delivering continuous regulatory documents.

• Addresses standard and non-standard inquiries from both internal business partners and external clients.

• Monitors and evaluates performance, addressing any issues that arise.

• Analyzes strategic challenges, data, and information to offer insights and recommendations.

• Manages vendor relationships and ensures oversight and governance in line with procurement policies.

• Facilitates change management execution and sustainment activities.

• Accurately processes transactions and activities in a timely manner, adhering to regulatory and risk controls.

• Verifies and reconciles information and documentation for accuracy and completeness.

• Identifies, analyzes, resolves, or escalates issues as necessary.

• Collaborates with stakeholders to achieve business objectives and meet service expectations.

• Assists in the development and implementation of processes, systems, tools, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Applies BMO’s Risk Management Framework and makes informed, risk-aware decisions.

• Primarily works independently.


⛳️ Requirements

• Generally requires 3–5 years of relevant experience.

• A post-secondary degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

• Extensive knowledge and experience with relevant systems and technology are essential.

• Deep understanding of the business unit’s key products and services, processes, and controls is necessary.

• Familiarity with the risk and regulatory requirements pertinent to the business is important.

• Strong prioritization skills are required.

• Exceptional customer service skills are necessary.

• Proficiency in PC applications, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.

• Strong collaboration and teamwork abilities are important.

• Superior analytical and problem-solving skills are required.

• Skills in influencing others are necessary.
