This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.
• Conduct independent exploration, configuration, and testing of intricate cloud-native security functionalities, including those powered by AI.
• Develop configuration guides, integration instructions, API documentation, troubleshooting resources, online help materials, release notes, and product feature descriptions.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and subject matter experts to convert complex technical information into user-friendly content.
• Take ownership of the documentation strategy and its execution for cloud-native identity and AI security functionalities, from the development phase to release and continuous enhancements.
• Examine technical scenarios related to cloud infrastructure, AI agents, non-human identities, authentication and authorization, APIs, and runtime access controls.
• Design, implement, and scale documentation workflows that leverage AI and agentic technologies for content generation, validation, quality enhancement, and retrieval readiness.
• Spearhead significant documentation projects from initial conception to final delivery.
• Mentor and support other technical writers in their development.
• Evaluate documentation usage, performance metrics, and stakeholder feedback to identify knowledge gaps and promote measurable progress.
• Contribute to shaping Saviynt’s agentic documentation strategy and practices for AI-ready content.
• Over 12 years of experience in technical writing or the development of technical content for enterprise software.
• A Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, Computer Science, Engineering, English, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience in designing and creating documentation for technically complex, cloud-native products, ideally in the security or identity management domain.
• Practical experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• A solid understanding of cloud computing, enterprise security, Identity and Access Management (IAM), and AI security principles.
• Familiarity with OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, JWT, and policy-based access control.
• Experience utilizing generative AI/LLM technologies in documentation or knowledge workflows.
• Knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) concepts and AI/LLM-compatible content.
• Practical experience with REST APIs, Git-based workflows, Markdown, Jira, and contemporary documentation platforms.
• Understanding of AI security concepts, AI agents, and non-human identities.
• Proficiency in scripting or programming with Python or JavaScript and familiarity with docs-as-code/CI/CD workflows.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with Product Managers, Engineers, and subject matter experts.
• Expertise in mentoring and developing team members.
