Associate Principal Engineer – UKG Pro Solution Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as an Associate Principal Engineer and UKG Pro Solution Consultant.

• Deliver enterprise, application, integration, data, security, and API architecture solutions.

• Design HCM integrations utilizing REST/SOAP APIs, SFTP, middleware/iPaaS, event-driven, and batch interfaces.

• Integrate UKG Pro with ADP Payroll and Workday Timekeeping systems.

• Collaborate with IAM, Finance/ERP, Benefits, Talent, ServiceNow, or similar HR service platforms, as well as data/analytics platforms.

• Model systems of record and manage data ownership.

• Oversee architecture governance and serve as the design authority.

• Lead architecture discussions involving HR, Payroll, Timekeeping, IT, Security, Integration, and business stakeholders.

• Facilitate discussions and effectively communicate architecture decisions across both functional and technical domains.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in HCM/HR technology and enterprise solution architecture.

• More than 5 years of practical experience with UKG Pro, preferably in architecture or solution leadership capacities.

• Experience navigating complex enterprise environments where UKG Pro, ADP, and Workday operate concurrently.

• Familiarity with global HR organizations across multiple countries and legal entities.

• Extensive knowledge of UKG Pro People Center / Core HR and the complete employee lifecycle processes.

• Experience in Core HR, Recruiting, Onboarding, Compensation, Performance, Talent, Document Management, People Assist, and Reporting & Analytics.

• Strong understanding of UKG Pro security, roles, workflows, employee data, organizational structures, and integrations.

• Proven ability in designing HCM integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, SFTP, middleware/iPaaS, event-driven, and batch interfaces.

• Experience with data transformation and mapping, as well as integration monitoring and reconciliation.

• Mandatory integration experience with ADP Payroll and Workday Timekeeping.

• Experience collaborating with IAM, Finance/ERP, Benefits, Talent, ServiceNow, or similar HR service platforms, and data/analytics platforms.

• Knowledge of enterprise, application, integration, data, security, and API architecture.

• Familiarity with cloud and SaaS architecture.

• Experience in system-of-record and data-ownership modeling.

• Proven track record in running architecture governance and acting as a design authority.

• Ability to work across both functional HR and technical architecture domains.

• Capacity to lead architecture discussions with HR, Payroll, Timekeeping, IT, Security, Integration, and business stakeholders.

• Exceptional stakeholder management, facilitation, and written communication skills.

• UKG Pro certifications are preferred.

• Hands-on experience with an iPaaS platform is preferred.

• Familiarity with HR data privacy regulations, such as GDPR, is preferred.

• Prior experience in leading large HCM implementations or platform consolidations from start to finish is preferred.

• UKG Pro is a mandatory skill.
