Associate Power BI Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Develop, publish, and schedule engaging Power BI reports and dashboards to fulfill business requirements.

• Utilize Power BI for analytics and trend analysis.

• Apply SQL and DAX to address complex business logic and needs.

• Merge multiple data tables from an Azure SDW environment to generate Power BI datasets and reports.

• Support the creation of enterprise data analytics models utilizing Power BI, SSAS, AAS, and data flows.

• Collaborate with the BI Team to design and implement schemas that effectively and accurately display data through Power BI.

• Engage in business analysis activities to collect reporting and dashboard requirements.

• Assist business users with functional and data requirements to improve data models.

• Leverage Microsoft Power Platform to automate reporting and processes.

• Design, implement, and maintain a platform that provides ad-hoc access to large datasets.

• Establish security roles and enforce standard Row Level Security.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting Information Systems, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or Information Technology, or equivalent work experience preferred.

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of DAX and SQL.

• Experience with Sage X3 is a plus.

• 2-4+ years of experience in developing Power BI reports, dashboards, critical metrics, and scorecards.

• 2-4+ years of development experience in data analytic technologies such as Microsoft Power BI or Tableau.

• Familiarity with the Microsoft Azure platform is an advantage.

• Experience in requirement analysis, design, and prototyping.

• Strong organizational skills are essential.

• Team-oriented with the capability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Excellent attention to detail.

• Must be self-motivated.

• Strong professional written and oral communication skills.
