Associate Partner – IBA & Credit Control

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage the comprehensive, hands-on oversight of Insurance Broking Accounts (IBA)

• Serve as the main contact point between Finance, broking, and Client Solutions

• Supervise collections and guarantee the timely receipt of funds from clients and brokers

• Ensure prompt settlement of outstanding balances

• Accurately allocate incoming cash across various accounts and transactions

• Conduct regular account reconciliations and address any discrepancies

• Lead initiatives in credit control and manage aged debts

• Enhance cash collection performance

• Address accounting inquiries from brokers, finance teams, and external parties

• Oversee cash flow across broking accounts and identify potential risks or delays

• Ensure compliance with FCA CASS regulations, internal controls, and applicable company policies

• Generate management information and reports on aged debt, cash allocation, reconciliations, and outstanding balances

• Facilitate process improvements and promote efficiencies

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 8 years of hands-on operational experience in Insurance Broking Accounts (IBA)

• Extensive experience in the reinsurance broking sector

• Strong grasp of premium accounting, cash allocation, and reconciliations

• Demonstrated experience in credit control and debt management

• Solid understanding of broking accounting processes and financial controls

• Capability to work effectively between Finance and Operations teams

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial systems
