Associate Medical Science Liaison – Northwest, WA, OR, CO

πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Assist in the clinical and commercial advancement of SIR-Spheres and other products marketed in the US.

β€’ Engage in outreach and collaborate with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), Healthcare Professionals (HCPs), researchers, and external partners.

β€’ Establish new relationships and nurture existing connections with HCPs and KOLs.

β€’ Act as the company's representative for clinical programs, trials, and medical communications.

β€’ Create KOL engagement strategies and support relationship management efforts.

β€’ Provide education and medical information to HCPs.

β€’ Represent Sirtex at medical events, conferences, advisory boards, institutional outreach meetings, and interactions with strategic partners.

β€’ Identify proctors, new users, fellowship candidates, speakers, and study investigators.

β€’ Assist with the introduction of TEC programs and conduct speaker training.

β€’ Monitor the progress of investigator studies and identify or address any obstacles.

β€’ Collaborate with Medical Information to respond to HCP inquiries.

β€’ Generate insights from the field and communicate implications to Medical leadership.

β€’ Convert HCP insights into scientific communications and publications.

β€’ Aid in internal training, Journal Club, commercial training, and the development of newsletters.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ An advanced degree in life sciences or healthcare is required (e.g., PhD, PharmD, MD).

β€’ A minimum of 1 year of experience in the pharmaceutical and/or medical device sectors, with in-house cross-functional MSL or a similar role.

β€’ Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and inspire team members.

β€’ Proficient in collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders within a cross-functional matrix structure.

β€’ Capability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced team setting.

β€’ Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

β€’ Operational effectiveness with the ability to devise project strategies and implement them consistently.

β€’ A flexible, solution-oriented mindset.

β€’ Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.

β€’ Occasional weekend work is anticipated for conferences and other events.

β€’ Candidates must reside in Washington, Oregon, or a state as far east as Colorado.
