Associate Manager, Provider Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of colleagues to uphold a top-tier lean operation.

• Collaborate with departmental managers to achieve objectives and key results.

• Enhance productivity, client satisfaction, and process efficiencies.

• Oversee team reporting and pinpoint areas needing improvement.

• Ensure the team's output aligns with established expectations.

• Assess departmental performance through the creation, collection, analysis, and interpretation of data and metrics.

• Support the development of departmental metrics and strategies for mitigation.

• Work alongside internal and external stakeholders on implementation, communication, change management, and risk mitigation strategies.

• Perform root-cause analysis and formulate action plans.

• Maintain, analyze, and report on the assigned team's KPIs.

• Monitor monthly and quarterly performance in relation to departmental objectives.

• Recruit and manage Oscar colleagues, including handling performance management, growth and development, and HR administrative responsibilities.

• Adhere to relevant laws and regulations.

• Execute additional duties as assigned.

• Report directly to the Manager of Provider Data Operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of direct experience in people management.

• At least 2 years of experience in an operations role supporting production teams.

• Over 1 year of experience utilizing data for decision-making and continuous improvement.

• More than 3 years of provider data experience within a health insurance company.

• Previous experience in healthcare or insurance-related fields.

• Strong skills in navigating Excel/Google Sheets, JIRA, and/or SQL.

• Candidates must be residents of Arizona, Florida, Georgia, or Texas.
