Associate Manager, Event Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Oversee consumer engagement initiatives related to nightlife and retail in the market.

• Recruit and supervise Educators and Influencers for the execution of events.

• Provide training for staff on brand knowledge, programs, consumer engagement, and excellence in execution.

• Manage staffing resources to meet business demands and volume requirements.

• Oversee point-of-sale coordination and manage warehouse activities for local events.

• Organize, assemble, and utilize point-of-sale materials effectively.

• Input, maintain, and review event data within activation platforms.

• Ensure timely and accurate entry of event reporting into the online database.

• Handle staff payroll and expense processes, including personal Travel and Entertainment expenses.

• Attend, assess, and evaluate events to ensure quality control standards are met.

• Provide suggestions for enhancing event quality.

• Assist with all market activities and report directly to the Market Manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in field or promotional marketing.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving capabilities.

• Strong organizational skills.

• Experience in promotional activities related to Wine and Spirits is highly preferred.

• Ability to effectively source candidates to ensure a good fit for the position and organization.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

• Familiarity with the MacOS operating system is preferred.

• Comprehensive knowledge of local state alcohol laws and regulations concerning state sampling laws and promotional activities.

• Comfortable with the marketing and promotion of wine and spirits products.
