Investment Banking Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Assist in the comprehensive execution of client transactions, encompassing M&A and capital-raising efforts.

• Create financial analyses, transaction summaries, supporting documentation, and trading comparable multiples.

• Design sell-side pitch materials that emphasize strategic opportunities and value propositions.

• Develop pitchbooks, slides, and high-quality presentation materials for client engagements.

• Conduct research on industry trends, market conditions, product developments, valuation trends, financial metrics, and competitive landscapes.

• Collect financial data, execute detailed analyses, and support the execution of M&A deals, IPOs, private equity agreements, and other advisory services.

• Assist senior bankers in business development efforts, preparation of background materials, opportunity identification, and pipeline expansion.

• Facilitate communication between clients, advisory teams, and internal stakeholders.

• Aid senior bankers in managing timelines, deliverables, and ensuring high-quality outputs under tight deadlines.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in investment banking, management consulting, corporate development, accounting, or valuation.

• Prior exposure to M&A transactions or relevant internship experience is strongly preferred.

• Proficient in financial modeling using Excel.

• Skilled in PowerPoint for the creation of client-facing materials.

• Familiarity with financial databases and research tools such as Capital IQ and PitchBook is advantageous.

• Fluent/advanced English proficiency, both written and verbal, is required.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Effective project management and time management skills.

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

• Strong client service orientation and a teamwork mindset.

• CFA Level I candidate or higher is preferred but not mandatory.
