This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Design, develop, and maintain translation maps, application programs, batch scripts, and integration points.
• Execute system configuration, mapping, testing, and management for EDI/Integration-based transactions and processes.
• Collaborate with network engineering, application development, and database administration to ensure the availability, reliability, and scalability of the EDI system.
• Investigate and suggest enhancements for core Integration systems.
• Oversee the implementation and communication of EDI and Integration systems, including document receiving, delivery, tracking, process audits, document mapping, service providers, and integration points.
• Maintain and effectively manage EDI-related production and procedures, including development, change requests, and enterprise integration projects.
• Offer EDI and integration-point customer support to trading partners, business users, service providers, and IT personnel.
• Diagnose errors and propose and implement modifications to enhance efficiency, reliability, and performance.
• Monitor EDI/Integration files and system health; execute corrective actions and report incidents.
• Engage in design/code reviews, unit tests, integrated system tests, and user acceptance tests.
• Establish and enforce policies, procedures, and technologies for EDI/Integration system security.
• Create and maintain EDI process documentation, training materials, and systems documentation.
• Manage project tasks, document scope and requirements, and develop training materials.
• Analyze, document, and model current and enhanced business workflow processes.
• Document and relay business requirements to Information Technology staff.
• Collaborate on IT projects, audits and controls, trading partner enrollment, and ongoing relationships with customers, vendors, and third parties.
• Formulate user acceptance test objectives, test plans, and test scripts.
• Review technical analyses, designs, test scripts, and results.
• Track requirements and facilitate changes using change management procedures.
• Provide timely and accurate reports on time and status.
• Associate degree required and/or equivalent business experience.
• Familiarity with various file types and their usage (X12, EDIFACT, XML, CSV, Flat Files).
• Experience with programming languages and techniques (Java, Python, Scripting).
• Background in EDI/Integration translations and implementation.
• Knowledge of EDI document types: 810, 850, 856.
• Understanding of various communication methods (FTP, SFTP, AS2, web services, etc.).
• Proven ability to develop improved processes.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong facilitation and negotiation capabilities.
• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment while meeting business needs and deadlines with minimal supervision.
