Associate Faculty – MS in Special Education

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +42 more states.

📋 Description

• Instruct assigned graduate-level special education courses in alignment with learning outcomes and syllabi.

• Facilitate class instruction and effectively communicate course material to ensure students achieve instructional objectives.

• Oversee classroom behavior and promote academic engagement.

• Collaborate with the program chair and Student Advising to resolve student issues.

• Assess student performance through course deliverables and rubrics.

• Enter interim grades in the Blackboard Grade Center.

• Submit final course grades via WebReg and the Blackboard Grade Center.

• Engage in course discussions, activities, and assignments.

• Record grades for assignments, discussion board activities, exams, and course completion in accordance with established requirements.

• Actively engage students and maintain a high level of interaction with them.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of an Ed.D and/or Ph.D is required.

• Extensive relevant experience in special education, education, or a related discipline.

• Availability to teach remotely and address the diverse needs of students.

• Official college transcripts must be on file with Associate Experience.

• Completion of a training session prior to the first teaching assignment is necessary.

• Adherence to university procedures, regulations, policies, and guidelines is expected.
