
Associate Faculty – DNP Health Care Technology, Part Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in designated fields in alignment with University learning objectives and course syllabi.
• Present course content, learning activities, and student evaluations utilizing up-to-date course materials.
• Offer additional knowledge and experience that relates course concepts to practical, real-world applications.
• Ensure timely availability of class materials to students.
• Maintain an interactive online classroom presence and respond to student questions promptly.
• Foster a supportive learning atmosphere and proactively address academic challenges.
• Provide coaching, tutoring, and supplementary resources as necessary.
• Supervise student clinical, practicum, and mentorship experiences when applicable.
• Attend faculty meetings, University events, and student graduation ceremonies as required.
• Stay informed about course updates, instructional standards, and pertinent information.
• Enhance professional and technical knowledge through employment, certification/licensure, conferences, publications, networks, and professional organizations.
• Instruct and perform related tasks in an online setting.
• Maintain familiarity with University technology and adapt to technological advancements.
• Carry out other assigned responsibilities.
• Doctoral degree in Bioinformatics or Information Systems, OR 3 years of experience in a healthcare-related field.
• Doctoral degree in any discipline with 18 graduate semester credits in Information Technology, Health Information, Nursing Informatic Systems, or a related field, and/or a national certification in Healthcare Technology.
• Minimum of 1 year of online instructional experience at the graduate level.
• At least 5 years of experience in managing healthcare technology systems.
• Degree from a regionally accredited institution.
• Some healthcare-related experience within the last 5 years; teaching in the area fulfills the currency requirement.
• One publication or record of scholarship annually within a rolling one-year timeframe.
• Familiarity with theories of adult education teaching and learning.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional oral and written communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in technology, including Microsoft suite programs.
• Capability to project a professional image and represent the University appropriately.
