Associate Faculty – Criminal Justice

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +43 more states.

📋 Description

• Instruct designated criminal justice courses in alignment with defined learning outcomes and syllabi.

• Oversee class instruction and regulate classroom/course behavior in compliance with university policies.

• Collaborate with the Assistant/Program Chair and Student Advising to resolve student-related issues.

• Assess student performance through course deliverables and established rubrics.

• Record interim grades in the Blackboard Grade Center.

• Engage in discussion boards, class discussions, and chat sessions as necessary.

• Submit grades for assignments, discussion boards, exams, and course completions in accordance with set requirements.

• Input final grades in WebReg and the Blackboard Grade Center when applicable.

• Participate in and facilitate end-of-class “close the loop” meetings with APM as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's degree.

• At least 1 year of relevant teaching/training experience in the field of criminal justice.

• Must possess professional work experience in Criminal Justice or a related discipline.
