This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Assist senior economists with economic, financial, and data analyses.
• Monitor significant economic indicators for Central European economies, including CIS countries and sectors, while assessing their influence on country risk and insolvency trends.
• Prepare weekly news summaries focused on Central Europe.
• Contribute to publications released by Group/Central Europe Economic Research.
• Develop presentations for clients and external events.
• Conduct ad-hoc research on important regional topics.
• Work efficiently with economic databases and extensive datasets.
• Create and engage with econometric models.
• A Master’s degree in economics, banking, insurance, or statistics is required.
• A minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience or internship in a similar role is preferred.
• Proficiency in English at a C1 level.
• A readiness to work in a multicultural, multinational environment.
• A solid understanding of macroeconomics and concepts related to country risk analysis.
• Exceptional writing abilities.
• Strong analytical skills and a knack for fact-finding.
• Capability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Macrobond is advantageous but not essential.
• Remote work is allowed.
