This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +2 more states.
• Accurately process salaries in a timely manner in line with the payroll calendar.
• Oversee taxes, deductions, and employee benefits management.
• Distribute salaries via payroll vendors and treasury services.
• Securely deliver payslips and maintain payroll documentation.
• Ensure compliance with taxation and labor laws.
• Conduct internal and external audits and reporting in accordance with governance standards.
• Maintain records and safeguard payroll data as per legal and organizational directives.
• Oversee the implementation of payroll software and HRIS integration with HR and finance systems.
• Support and lead the implementation and transformation projects for global payroll systems.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors for efficient project execution.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance payroll operations.
• Analyze data to mitigate risks, discover trends, and guide project planning.
• Assist HR Services with Level 2 payroll escalations and query resolutions.
• Ensure the team is aware of operational rhythms and procedures.
• Utilize metrics, SLAs, analytics, dashboards, and data to boost efficiency.
• Manage incidents effectively.
• Hands-on experience with end-to-end payroll operations.
• Capability to drive payroll standardization to global SOPs while ensuring local compliance.
• Understanding of industry best practices.
• Ability to apply agile project management principles in payroll transformation initiatives.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Skill to educate teams on new payroll processes and technologies.
• Knowledge of global, regional, and local payroll legislation.
• Experience in implementing internal controls, audits, and forensic payroll audits.
• Familiarity with GDPR, SOC 1, ISO 27001, and other security standards.
• Experience with cloud-based payroll solutions such as SAP, Workday, ADP, or EY.
• Competence in tracking payroll costs, accuracy, efficiency, cycle times, employee experience, and compliance KPIs.
• Proficiency in predictive analytics for labor and payroll cost forecasting.
• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma process improvement methodologies.
• Experience in vendor SLA management and global workforce compliance.
• Fiscal competence in managing payroll budgets and optimizing payroll expenditures.
