This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Lead the execution of quality engineering for designated applications, products, or agile teams.
• Manage, mentor, and develop leaders, engineers, and SDETs within quality engineering.
• Establish and implement quality engineering standards, practices, and governance.
• Drive functional, integration, end-to-end, regression, and release validation processes.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and delivery leaders to integrate quality throughout the SDLC.
• Oversee defect triage, trend analysis, root-cause investigations, and tracking of corrective actions.
• Assist in release-readiness assessments and validation of production deployments.
• Foster the adoption of automation and ensure sustainable regression coverage.
• Embed automated validations and quality checks within CI/CD pipelines.
• Coordinate validations for performance, resiliency, operational readiness, and security.
• Monitor quality metrics, delivery trends, and outcomes in production.
• Raise awareness of systemic quality issues, portfolio risks, and capacity limitations.
• Contribute to the modernization of quality engineering through the use of enterprise tools and reusable frameworks.
• Pilot and expand approved AI-assisted quality engineering capabilities.
• Advocate for responsible, validated, traceable, and compliant AI utilization in quality engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
• Over 8 years of experience in software engineering, quality engineering, testing, or related technical fields.
• At least 3 years of leadership experience managing quality engineering, test automation, or software delivery teams within enterprise settings.
• Proven experience leading quality engineering efforts across multiple agile teams or complex applications.
• Demonstrated ability to enhance quality engineering practices, including automation, process improvement, and metrics-driven execution.
• Strong knowledge of Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD methodologies.
• Experience with API, UI, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with distributed systems and contemporary application architectures.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across product, engineering, and operational teams.
• Experience working in matrixed organizations and coordinating efforts across distributed teams.
• Minimum internet connectivity of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload is required.
• Ability to work from a designated space without interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information.
