Associate Director, Patient-Centered Outcomes

📋 Description

• Lead and support the creation and implementation of COA strategies and tactical plans across global Oncology and Neuroscience Therapeutic Areas, specifically in the US and EUR/International regions.

• Collaborate with Global Molecule Teams, brand representatives, Global Value & HEOR, Global Medical Affairs, and various cross-functional teams.

• Raise awareness among functional and senior leadership regarding the potential impact of COAs in product and commercial development, indication identification, and associated activities.

• Foster trust and communication with internal partners, including Patient Advocacy, Procurement, Finance, Biostatistics, Clinical, Medical Affairs, HEOR, Commercial, Market Access, and Legal departments.

• Identify COA measurement methodologies and provide guidance on COA endpoint strategies.

• Define work scopes and manage relationships with vendors and KOLs for COA initiatives.

• Assist in leading RFP/RFQ development and the procurement of COA services.

• Participate in project team meetings to monitor timelines and deliverables.

• Execute project administrative tasks, including financial communications related to invoicing, payments, and accruals.

• Set up and maintain study-document storage systems.

• Act as PV Project Lead/Adverse Event Monitor.

• Coordinate and obtain internal Jazz approvals for study materials prepared for ethics submission.

• Obtain FMV approval for HCP or patient engagement activities.

• Support forecasting and manage PCO project budget requirements.

• Track and oversee PCO proposals, projects, and other related activities.

• Serve as the key stakeholder for the Pharmacovigilance System Master File in AE-generating studies for ex-US Jazz marketed products.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least three years of experience in PCOs/COAs environments, with a background in evidence generation/HEOR/RWE/Medical Affairs/Market Access within a pharmaceutical company and/or consultancy preferred.

• Experience in Oncology is crucial.

• Experience in Neuroscience is preferred.

• Required experience in strategic leadership, impactful communication, and fostering a strong, inclusive, and energizing culture.

• Exceptional organizational abilities.

• A collaborative team player with strong cross-functional partnership skills.

• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Smartsheet, and SAP.

• Proven expertise with virtual collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Zoom, etc.).

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with interpersonal, problem-solving, and facilitation abilities are essential.

• Ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks, work independently with minimal supervision, and build collaborative relationships with management, partners, and peers.

• Commitment to self-development and staying current with advancements in the COA field.

• A Bachelor’s Degree is mandatory.

• A Master's or PhD is preferred.
