Associate Director, Liver Franchise Marketing – Regional Engagement

📋 Description

• Assist in the formulation and implementation of the PBC Marketing strategic plan, emphasizing regional engagement initiatives, insight collection, and event management.

• Collaborate with key stakeholders across Marketing & Sales and cross-functional teams to align with Liver Franchise strategic priorities.

• Spearhead the development and execution of regional priority opportunities and activations.

• Cultivate Gilead’s leadership narrative in the Liver sector and enhance key partnership activities.

• Create and implement insight plans for essential stakeholders, including speaker bureaus and regional advisory boards when suitable.

• Coordinate Gilead’s participation in significant Liver events and sponsorships, ensuring organizational engagement and alignment with commercial objectives.

• Oversee and guide agency partners to execute the annual tactical plan while adhering to budget constraints.

• Prepare and deliver presentations to both internal stakeholders and external audiences.

• Ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and policies.

• Report directly to the Senior Director of US Liver Franchise Opinion Leader Programming.

• Willingness to travel up to 75%, including weekend and overnight trips.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of professional experience.

• A Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related disciplines is required.

• Knowledge of marketing fundamentals, strategies, sales, and commercial policies and practices.

• Background in marketing, research, and/or pharmaceutical sales is preferred.

• An MBA or another advanced business or public health degree is desirable.

• Experience and connections in the Liver field are advantageous.

• A strong focus on customer needs.

• Excellent interpersonal, verbal communication, and writing abilities.

• Capacity to simplify complex subjects.

• Flexibility to adjust communication style and content according to the audience.

• Proven track record in project management and handling multiple projects/priorities effectively.

• Strong leadership qualities and a compliance-oriented mindset.

• Availability for weekend and overnight travel.

• Capability to travel up to 75% of the time.
