Associate Director, Global Quality Business Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the management of a unified portfolio view comprising Global Quality strategic initiatives, programs, and critical projects.

• Monitor the progress, milestones, risks, dependencies, and deliverables associated with Global Quality Operations global programs.

• Create and enforce program management standards, tools, and reporting frameworks.

• Conduct governance reviews and deliver regular updates regarding program performance.

• Establish and maintain metrics, dashboards, and reporting processes to ensure operational effectiveness.

• Propel action tracking, ensure follow-through, and uphold accountability for commitments, deliverables, and strategic priorities.

• Leverage performance data, trends, and insights to pinpoint opportunities for operational effectiveness and process optimization.

• Assist in governance activities, performance evaluations, and operational assessments.

• Preserve end-to-end process maps, operational documentation, and frameworks for process ownership.

• Advocate for program best practices and safeguard organizational knowledge through documentation and governance.

• Enhance collaboration between Global Quality and functional business partners via Centers of Excellence.

• Foster communication and coordination among regions, programs, and stakeholder groups.

• Improve transparency regarding priorities, dependencies, risks, and outcomes.

• Serve as a strategic partner to Global Quality leadership, Global Quality Operations, and business stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree is required.

• An advanced degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Quality, Life Sciences, or a related discipline is preferred.

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in portfolio management, strategic planning, PMO leadership, business operations, or organizational effectiveness.

• Proven experience in program management, portfolio management, business operations, strategic planning, and operational excellence within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or other regulated sectors.

• Demonstrated capability to manage multiple strategic initiatives and priorities within a complex, global organization.

• Experience in developing and maintaining portfolio management processes, governance frameworks, project plans, and operational reporting systems.

• Proficiency in creating metrics, dashboards, and performance reporting.

• Experience in facilitating cross-functional collaboration and aligning stakeholders across business functions, regions, and global programs.

• Familiarity with process improvement methodologies, operational excellence principles, and practices related to organizational effectiveness.

• Skilled in tracking program performance, risks, dependencies, actions, and deliverables.

• Strong analytical abilities to synthesize data, identify trends, and provide actionable business insights.

• Excellent organizational, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
