Associate Director, Field Technology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Oversee the management, organizational roadmap, optimization, and adoption of sales systems, encompassing CRM, Field Reporting, and additional field technology tools.

• Propel strategic improvements, system performance, and cross-functional alignment to enhance commercial effectiveness.

• Act as a vital collaborator with Field Strategic Operations, Brand, IT, Commercial Operations, and Analytics.

• Serve as the business owner for sales systems catering to field teams across various therapeutic areas.

• Create organizational roadmaps for Field Technology tailored to supported sales divisions.

• Spearhead system enhancements, configurations, and integration initiatives with IT and external vendors.

• Lead cross-functional projects aimed at boosting sales-force productivity through automation and process efficiencies.

• Facilitate communication between field sales and IT to guarantee system performance and resolve issues.

• Partner with Systems Training to develop training materials, system guides, and best practices for end-users.

• Set up and track adoption metrics while pinpointing areas for enhancement.

• Collaborate with Commercial Analytics to deliver valuable insights and dashboards.

• Work alongside IT to uphold data integrity, governance, and compliance within sales systems.

• Evaluate system utilization data and present strategic recommendations to leadership.

• Collaborate with Field Strategic Operations, Brand, IT, and Marketing to synchronize system capabilities with commercial objectives.

• Manage relationships with external vendors to ensure system reliability and ongoing enhancements.

• Participate in vendor selection, contract negotiations, and service-level agreements.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

• Over 8 years of experience in sales operations, CRM management, or field technology.

• Proficient in Veeva or Salesforce CRM, Power BI, and other sales enablement platforms.

• Demonstrated ability to lead system implementations, enhancements, and field adoption initiatives.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management abilities.

• Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, IT, and Commercial Operations.

• Background in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare sectors is preferred.

• Familiarity with AI-driven sales analytics and emerging field technologies is preferred.
