This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana, +2 more states.
• Lead, develop, and manage a team of Field Reimbursement Managers directly.
• Implement the PECS Field Reimbursement Manager strategy throughout the South region.
• Ensure that healthcare providers, patients, and caregivers have the necessary information, tools, and resources to initiate and maintain therapy.
• Promote communication among Patient Access, Pharmacy Access, Medical, Market Access, Brand Marketing, and Field Sales departments.
• Inspire, coach, develop, and retain a diverse team.
• Oversee a regionally aligned team of up to 10 direct reports to enhance access and fulfillment impact.
• Formulate both short- and long-term strategic plans and oversee the execution of related tactics.
• Drive the district vision, cultivate team culture, foster accountability, manage FRM performance, establish customer relationships, and accomplish team objectives.
• Mentor FRMs to utilize data insights and account management skills to overcome access obstacles.
• Assist in identifying and resolving patient barriers related to Buy & Bill, Medical Benefit, Assignment of Benefit, specialty pharmacy, and pharmacy benefit.
• Build trust-based relationships and collaborate with both internal and external partners.
• Operate in the field with minimal supervision.
• Manage and allocate the budget in accordance with team goals.
• Execute responsibilities in alignment with the JJIM Credo, HCC Guidelines, and FRM Rules of Engagement.
• Report to the Field Director for Field Access & Affordability Solutions within PECS.
• A Bachelor’s Degree is mandatory.
• An MBA or other relevant graduate-level degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in healthcare business is required.
• A focus on biopharmaceutical market access, field reimbursement, or managed markets is preferred.
• Familiarity with account management, managed care, and reimbursement principles, including pharmacy and medical benefit/buy & bill benefit design, coding, billing, prior authorization, office operations, and appeals processes.
• At least 3 years of direct management experience.
• Proven leadership skills and successful performance in previous positions.
• A valid Driver's License in one of the 50 United States is required.
• Must reside within the designated geography or be willing to relocate.
• Experience in the neuroscience disease state is preferred.
• An MBA or other advanced degree/relevant certifications are preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to navigate complex and high-profile business situations.
• Experience in devising and implementing customer-oriented strategies.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional matrix environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in the Neuroscience therapeutic market is a plus.
• A demonstrated commitment to exploring and applying emerging technologies, such as AI, over time is preferred.
• Experience in building team AI literacy and confidence while promoting responsible AI use and sound judgment is preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
