This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.
• Lead, mentor, coach, and manage a team of Field Reimbursement Managers directly.
• Implement the PECS Field Reimbursement Manager strategy across accounts in Neuroscience healthcare.
• Provide healthcare providers, patients, and caregivers with the necessary information, tools, and resources to initiate and maintain therapy.
• Enhance communication among Patient Access, Pharmacy Access, Medical, Market Access, Brand Marketing, and Field Sales teams.
• Oversee a regionally aligned team of up to 10 direct reports.
• Formulate both short- and long-term strategic plans while managing the execution of associated tactics.
• Establish a strong team culture, promote accountability, assess FRM performance, and meet team objectives.
• Guide FRMs in leveraging data insights and account management skills to overcome access barriers.
• Assist in identifying and resolving patient challenges related to Buy & Bill, Medical Benefit, AOB, specialty pharmacy, and pharmacy benefits.
• Cultivate relationships and collaborate with both internal and external partners.
• Manage and allocate the budget in alignment with team goals.
• Travel within the designated field region, up to 75% of the time.
• Report to the Field Director of Field Access & Affordability Solutions within PECS.
• A Bachelor's Degree is required.
• At least 8 years of experience in a healthcare business-related role.
• Proficient knowledge of account management, managed care, and reimbursement principles, including pharmacy and medical benefit/buy & bill design, coding, billing, prior authorization, office operations, and appeals processes.
• Minimum of 3 years in direct people management.
• Proven leadership skills and a track record of performance success in previous positions.
• A valid Driver's License from one of the 50 United States is necessary.
• Must reside within the geographical area or be willing to relocate.
• Experience in the Neuroscience disease state is preferred.
• An MBA or other advanced degrees/relevant certifications are preferred.
• Experience in developing and executing customer-focused strategies.
• Ability to work collaboratively across functions in a matrix environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in the Neuroscience therapeutic market is beneficial.
• A willingness to learn about emerging technologies, such as AI, is preferred.
• Experience in enhancing team AI literacy and confidence is preferred.
• Travel up to 75% of the time is expected.
• Eligibility for a long-term incentive program.
• Vacation entitlement of 120 hours per calendar year.
• Sick leave of 40 hours per calendar year; Colorado residents receive 48 hours; Washington residents get 56 hours.
• Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays, totaling 13 days per calendar year.
