This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
• Develop data-driven strategies for targeting accounts, health systems, physicians, payers, and patients.
• Conduct and oversee field force targeting, sizing, and structural analyses.
• Lead the creation of field force call plans and ensure their integration into CRM/SFA systems.
• Establish benchmarks, key performance indicators, and success metrics for product and marketing initiatives.
• Determine territory alignments and assess the necessity for additional territories.
• Assist in the development and management of field incentive compensation programs.
• Provide ad hoc analyses, business performance insights, and recommendations to senior management and internal stakeholders.
• Design and enhance CRM systems, executive dashboards, and sales business intelligence tools.
• Update Salesforce reports and dashboards, delivering weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports.
• Identify key business issues that require further investigation and align team members on objectives, methodologies, and recommendations.
• Identify suitable external partners and manage project considerations effectively.
• Integrate secondary research with primary research and forecasting insights.
• Develop and implement communication plans for competitive and environmental insights.
• Share multi-stakeholder insights and recommendations with cross-functional partners and international affiliates.
• Utilize consulting skills including problem definition, hypothesis generation, data analysis, value translation, and presentations.
• Foster internal and external partnerships while adapting to evolving business needs.
• BA or BS with a concentration in Life Sciences, Marketing, or Business.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in consulting and commercial analytics and/or sales operations.
• Experience in biotech or pharmaceuticals is required.
• Oncology experience is preferred, with a strong preference for hematology.
• Hands-on, comprehensive understanding of secondary data sources, including syndicated sales, longitudinal patient-level data, and payer data.
• Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate data and insights into actionable recommendations for business growth.
• Proven attention to detail and excellence in project management.
• Experience managing multiple projects and priorities effectively.
• Experience overseeing vendors and consultants.
• Capability to adapt plans and strategies as new market findings emerge.
• Outstanding interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• SQL knowledge for data analytics.
• Experience with mapping software for territory alignment is preferred.
• Familiarity with reporting tools that utilize SQL as the backend is preferred.
• Willingness to travel 15–20% of the time.
