This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Oversee the external hub vendors for OneHUB that support AbbVie’s Access and Affordability initiatives.
• Manage daily vendor oversight, ensuring adherence to SLAs, quality benchmarks, compliance mandates, and business requirements.
• Supervise vendor performance across various partners and conduct business evaluations.
• Establish and sustain governance frameworks, reporting systems, and performance review schedules.
• Identify performance deficiencies and implement corrective action plans.
• Track vendor financial performance and resource allocation.
• Recognize operational, compliance, and performance risks and develop strategies for mitigation.
• Collaborate with AbbVie Patient Services and brand stakeholders to align strategic priorities with operational execution.
• Deliver performance updates, risk evaluations, and strategic suggestions to internal stakeholders.
• Explore cross-vendor opportunities to enhance performance, efficiency, standardization, patient experience, and program success.
• Facilitate process improvements, staffing changes, workflow redesigns, and technology enhancements.
• Lead root cause analysis and mitigation planning for systemic or recurring challenges.
• Direct and nurture a team responsible for managing external hub vendor relationships and monitoring performance.
• Establish priorities, accountability measures, and performance expectations; mentor team members.
• A Bachelor’s Degree is mandatory.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in vendor management, operations leadership, patient services, access support, or related commercial operations is required.
• Experience in healthcare, biopharma, patient services, specialty pharmacy, or access support environments is preferred.
• Proven experience managing external hub vendor performance across multiple partners.
• Familiarity with contractual obligations, SLAs, KPIs, quality standards, and compliance requirements.
• Capability to monitor vendor financial performance and resource allocation.
• Competence in identifying and addressing operational, compliance, and performance risks.
• Ability to translate strategic changes into operational guidance for vendors.
• Proficiency in utilizing data and insights to analyze performance trends and discover improvement opportunities.
• Experience in leading and developing a team focused on vendor relationship management and performance oversight.
