Associate Director, Experience Design

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Direct the overarching design vision for intricate client projects

• Partner with stakeholders to provide impactful design solutions

• Formulate design strategies that align with business objectives of customers

• Embed design strategies into wider technology and innovation frameworks

• Oversee and guide junior design team members

• Offer coaching and support to enhance team skills and performance

• Cultivate relationships with senior client stakeholders

• Ensure design direction is in harmony with clients' strategic visions

• Promote design thinking throughout the organization

• Champion the integration of design principles throughout project execution

• Influence the organizational strategy regarding AI integration in design

• Shape design processes and culture

• Ensure design teams are skilled in AI and comprehend its ethical considerations

• Lead frameworks for human/AI interaction, emphasizing human-in-the-loop approaches

• Advocate for responsible AI practices in client interactions and internal operations

• Establish clear standards and promote continuous learning and adoption in AI-driven design

⛳️ Requirements

• Profound knowledge of human-centered design methodologies and philosophies

• Experience in aligning stakeholders through workshops and collaborative initiatives

• Capability to communicate effectively and persuasively through storytelling

• Proficient in designing and executing generative and evaluative user research

• Skilled in creating context-appropriate prototypes ranging from low to high fidelity

• Expertise in information design and visual communication techniques

• Ability to utilize AI tools while upholding quality and ethical standards

• Over 10 years of professional experience

• Extensive industry vertical expertise

• Background in both enterprise and agency environments

• Familiarity with IT infrastructure or other technical applications

• Knowledge of human behavior, change management, or related social sciences

• Background in data science, AI, or machine learning

• Bachelor's Degree or a comparable portfolio

• Preferred qualifications: MDM, MDes, MFA, dMBA, or equivalent
