This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Integrate with intricate, high-priority products and product teams to enhance product management practices and expedite the adoption of the Digital Product Operating Model (DPOM).
• Act as a senior hands-on player-coach to Digital Product Managers (DPMs) and members of cross-functional teams.
• Guide DPMs in complex problem framing, discovery, product strategy, outcome-based roadmaps, OKRs, KPIs, trade-offs, stakeholder alignment, and value measurement.
• Temporarily assume product management responsibilities in the absence of a DPM, which includes shaping product direction, aligning stakeholders, defining outcomes, and assisting with roadmap, capacity, and prioritization decisions.
• Assist teams in utilizing user insights, product data, business context, and experimentation to make evidence-based decisions.
• Empower cross-functional teams to implement the Digital Product Operating Model effectively.
• Collaborate with business, technology, design, data, compliance, quality, and related product teams.
• Link enterprise and business strategy to product strategy, outcomes, and investment decisions.
• Support product vision, strategy, roadmaps, OKRs, KPIs, investment recommendations, and value realization plans.
• Address cross-product dependencies, sequencing issues, and prioritization conflicts.
• Influence senior stakeholders without formal authority and convey product direction, risks, trade-offs, and decisions.
• Conduct Catalyst engagements, which encompass assessment, planning, coaching, adoption measurement, transition planning, and learning capture.
• Define and monitor success measures for engagements.
• Present insights, risks, and recommendations to the Director of Product Management Catalysts and leadership of the Product Management Hub.
• Transform lessons learned from embedded work into reusable practices, templates, and improvements for the playbook.
• Doctorate degree and 3 years of experience in Digital Product, Product Management, Product Leadership, Digital Transformation, Technology Strategy, or related fields, OR a Master’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience, OR a Bachelor’s degree with 7 years of relevant experience, OR an Associate’s degree with 12 years of relevant experience, OR a High school diploma/GED with 14 years of relevant experience.
• A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in digital product management is preferred.
• Proven experience in owning or leading complex, interdependent, high-priority products or product initiatives.
• Capability to coach, mentor, or enhance the skills of product managers, product owners, business partners, and cross-functional team members.
• Strong expertise in product management, including problem definition, product discovery, roadmap development, OKRs, KPIs, prioritization, stakeholder alignment, investment trade-offs, and value realization.
• Experience in influencing senior stakeholders in business, technology, product, engineering, data, compliance, and related areas without formal authority.
• Ability to function as a senior hands-on player-coach.
• Skill in transitioning teams from output-oriented delivery to outcome-focused product management.
• Strong judgment in ambiguous circumstances, including framing complex problems, resolving dependencies, making trade-off recommendations, and developing practical solutions.
• Preferred experience in contributing to product operating models, playbooks, standards, templates, training, or adoption methodologies.
• Experience in healthcare, biotechnology, or other regulated industries is preferred; experience in high-tech, digital, consulting, or product-led organizations is also encouraged.
• Familiarity with AI-native product development, generative AI workflows, responsible AI principles, and the role of AI in product management is preferred.
