Associate Director, Digital Integrations – F135 Program

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.

📋 Description

• Lead the integration of AI/ML, digital twins, and advanced analytics within the F135 engine program.

• Act as the primary authority for identifying, assessing, and incorporating advanced digital tools, platforms, and methodologies.

• Improve program efficiency, performance, and customer satisfaction through digital capabilities.

• Assess industry advancements and pinpoint opportunities to integrate emerging technologies into the F135 program.

• Shape the digital strategy and roadmap for the program.

• Align the long-term digital objectives of RTX with the business goals of the F135 Program.

• Cultivate a collaborative and inclusive environment that promotes innovation, agility, continuous learning, and professional development.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology (IT), Engineering, or another STEM-related discipline, accompanied by 12 years of experience in software development and digital transformation roles, including a minimum of 5 years in a leadership capacity; or an advanced degree with 10 years of relevant experience and at least 5 years in a leadership position.

• Proficiency in AI/ML, digital twins, advanced data analytics, and cloud computing.

• Demonstrated experience in leading the integration of advanced digital technologies within large-scale programs and complex, matrixed organizations.

• U.S. citizenship is required due to export control regulations.

• Experience in the aerospace or defense sector, particularly regarding propulsion systems, is preferred.

• Knowledge of model-based systems engineering (MBSE) and/or Model Based Enterprise (MBE) is preferred.

• Expertise in Agile methodologies and frameworks, with a background as an Agile team leader is preferred.

• Outstanding communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities.

• Capability to influence and motivate diverse teams and stakeholders.
