This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Oversee the creation of content for groundbreaking healthcare and pharmaceutical marketing projects.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to craft and implement copy for healthcare professionals, patients/caregivers, and internal client audiences.
• Generate original content across various digital and print formats, which include brochures, emails, social media posts, banner ads, videos, websites, and essential visual aids.
• Work alongside Creative leads to define creative direction and enhance graphics and layouts.
• Comprehend client brands, core messages, creative objectives, and marketing strategies.
• Direct content creation across different therapeutic areas and product lines.
• Ensure the highest standards of quality, thorough referencing, annotation, and both medical and scientific accuracy.
• Integrate feedback from internal teams and clients into manuscripts and layouts.
• Keep style guides and core claims documents up-to-date in collaboration with Editorial and Medical content leaders.
• Present work and the rationale behind it during internal and client reviews and meetings.
• Create and adhere to project timelines in coordination with internal teams.
• Follow established workflows, procedures, and best practices set by both internal and client standards.
• Attend client, partner, and promotional review committee meetings as necessary.
• Oversee copy-development resources and workflow, including managing contract personnel.
• Encourage collaboration between Copy Services and other departments.
• Promote a positive team culture, consensus building, and effective internal communication.
• Maintain clear communication with colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Keep the manager updated on departmental issues and work towards solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of 5 years of copywriting experience in a pharmaceutical agency setting.
• Demonstrated ability to write for both healthcare professionals and consumer audiences.
• Strong grasp of marketing and advertising principles.
• Proven experience managing a diverse range of accounts and therapeutic areas.
• High level of integrity, ethics, confidentiality, and accountability.
• Skilled at managing outcomes to achieve win-win resolutions.
• Proficient in planning, prioritization, and execution of tasks.
• Capacity to think creatively, connect disparate ideas, develop innovative concepts, and actively contribute to brainstorming sessions.
• Ability to write across multiple channels, including both print and digital media.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to function effectively under time constraints.
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing circumstances.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe applications.
• Familiarity with user experience best practices.
• Understanding of the collaboration between Creative and Copy teams.
• Strong attention to detail and a high degree of scientific and medical accuracy.
• Ability to comprehend and navigate pharmaceutical legal and regulatory review processes.
• Capable of working independently as well as effectively as part of a team.
• High energy level and a collaborative team-player attitude.
• Some travel may be necessary.
• Additional hours and/or nontraditional working hours may be required depending on client needs.
