This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Aid in the execution of mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives within the HubSpot platform.

• Assist in sourcing, assessing, and executing strategic transactions.

• Formulate investment theses and oversee the transaction pipeline.

• Carry out due diligence and review transaction documentation.

• Perform financial modeling.

• Conduct thorough market research and competitive analyses to pinpoint potential targets and growth prospects.

• Establish connections with emerging startups, investors, and other market participants.

• Keep track of industry trends and activities.

• Collaborate on post-close integration.

• Work together with cross-functional leaders to advance HubSpot’s inorganic growth strategy.

• Prioritize HubSpot customers in business decision-making processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4 years of pertinent experience in investment banking, corporate development, or a comparable role.

• Experience with active M&A transactions.

• In-depth knowledge of financial modeling and valuation methodologies, including business case development, multiples-based approaches, and DCFs.

• Strong financial acumen with the ability to analyze complex financial data and provide strategic recommendations.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Excellent organizational and analytical abilities.

• Capable of managing multiple projects and stakeholders at once.

• Interest in software, AI, and future developments in AI.

• Solid understanding of market trends and dynamics.
