
Associate Captive Sales Executive – Medical Stop Loss

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Develop and implement sales strategies aimed at increasing captive membership, premium volume, and revenue.
• Establish and nurture relationships with employee benefits brokers, consultants, CFOs, HR leaders, business owners, and other key decision-makers.
• Identify, target, and cultivate opportunities with middle-market, upper middle-market, and national account employers.
• Educate prospects and partners on self-funded health plans, medical stop-loss, captive insurance, and strategies for managing healthcare costs.
• Guide opportunities through the complete sales process, including prospecting, discovery, proposal development, presentations, negotiations, and closing.
• Collaborate with underwriting, account management, marketing, and leadership teams to achieve outstanding client outcomes and enhance retention efforts.
• Represent BevCap at industry conferences, broker meetings, networking events, and client presentations.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and precise sales activities within Salesforce and HubSpot.
• Travel as necessary to support business development, client meetings, and market-facing events.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, business development, or consulting in the fields of medical stop-loss, self-funded employee benefits, captive insurance, or a related area.
• A proven history of meeting or surpassing new business objectives.
• Established connections with employee benefits brokers, consultants, or decision-makers within companies.
• A working understanding of self-funded health plans, medical stop-loss, and employee benefits strategies.
• Excellent presentation, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
• Capability to articulate complex insurance and financial concepts to executive audiences.
• Highly organized with effective follow-up and pipeline management skills.
• A bachelor's degree is preferred.
• An active Accident & Health Insurance License is preferred or the ability to obtain one within 30 days.
