Associate Broker – Small Business Unit

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.

📋 Description

• Assist in the retention and expansion of the Small Business Unit

• Collaborate with insurance agents nationwide to retain clients and provide outstanding service

• Clarify policy coverage, benefits, and limitations

• Respond to questions regarding coverage, policy modifications, claims assistance, and billing inquiries

• Support and guide the service team to achieve annual and monthly production targets

• Keep precise activity logs in the management database system

• Set up payment plans and aid in premium collection

• Verify the accuracy of policies and quotes before they are sent to insurance agents

• Oversee the retention of both existing and new business through the use of spreadsheets, company databases, and communication tools

• Provide additional support including data entry, marketing, and quality control

• Be available remotely during non-scheduled hours for urgent emails and business calls

• Ensure adherence to Quality Control standards

• Act as a liaison among carriers, clients, agents, and business partners to enable new business, renewals, and ongoing account service

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid state insurance license

• High School Diploma or equivalent qualification

• Minimum of two (2) years of proven experience in commercial property & casualty insurance

• Familiarity with EPIC, Salesforce, or similar management systems

• Highly skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe

• Excellent customer service and relationship management abilities

• Preferred: insurance designations such as CPCU, ARM, or CIC

• Preferred: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field

• Preferred: experience in environmental insurance or wholesale brokerage

• Typically, no personal or rental vehicle is necessary for business purposes
