Associate Attorney – Mid-Level

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create strategies for both preventive measures and litigation.

• Conduct research and analysis on legislative changes and case law developments within the banking industry.

• Organize and prioritize tasks to adhere to procedural deadlines and respond to internal requests effectively.

• Oversee and manage a high volume of strategic civil and enforcement litigation, with an emphasis on banking-related issues.

• Prepare a variety of legal documents, including defenses, appeals, motions to set aside, and other necessary submissions.

• Track procedural deadlines and handle outstanding cases to mitigate risks and losses.

• Act as the company's representative during settlement discussions, evidentiary hearings, and trial proceedings.

• Draft and review legal documentation.

• Keep informed on pertinent case law and legislative developments, especially in the banking sector.

• Collaborate on the firm's case portfolio and formulate legal strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

• Active membership in the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB).

• Minimum of 2 years of legal practice, with a proven track record in debt recovery.

• Proficiency in legal management tools, including relevant software and technology utilized in legal practice.

• Strong analytical abilities and meticulous attention to detail.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
