This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Review court publications and manage deadlines within the system.

• Analyze intricate cases and compile detailed reports.

• Request necessary actions from clients while adhering to deadlines.

• Draft complaints, defenses, counterclaims, motions, and appeals.

• Manage enforcement proceedings, objections to enforcement, summary collection proceedings, debt collection claims, contract revision claims, damages claims, declaratory actions, accounting actions, and interim relief proceedings.

• Oversee cases throughout the merits, judgment enforcement, and judgment liquidation phases.

• Address client inquiries via the internal system and email communication.

• Process client requests submitted through spreadsheets.

• Handle complex cases and urgent measures as requested by clients.

• Enter case-related details into the firm’s case management system.

• Assess whether appeals can be waived.

• Request compliance with obligations to act and pay.

• Solicit supporting information and documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of three years of active registration with the São Paulo State Bar Association (OAB-SP); registrations from other states will not be accepted.

• Experience working in law firms, ideally in high-volume litigation.

• Proficient in drafting defenses and appeals.

• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and the Internet.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Familiarity with Small Claims Court proceedings.

• Knowledge of banking litigation and consumer law is advantageous.

• Up-to-date understanding of Brazil’s 2015 Code of Civil Procedure.

• Ability to handle a substantial volume of daily analyses.

• Strong commitment and reliability.
