Associate Attorney – Business Immigration Law

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Analyze and communicate solutions to meet clients' business immigration requirements.

• Ensure timely and precise communication with clients throughout the application journey and beyond.

• Provide assistance with the management and compliance of immigration programs.

• Oversee and work collaboratively with support staff to guarantee that applications are accurately prepared and submitted.

• Maintain precision for cases that involve high volume and rapid turnover.

• Offer support to clients and staff regarding inquiries during the filing process.

• Prepare and submit visa petitions related to business, both non-immigrant and immigrant.

• Conduct comprehensive case reviews on work carried out by legal support teams.

• Perform additional duties as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Current membership in a relevant Bar association.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in business immigration.

• In-depth knowledge across various nonimmigrant visa issues, including H-1B, L-1A/L-1B, E-2 Treaty Investor, O-1, TN, E-3, and J-1 cases.

• Strong understanding of employment-based permanent residency matters, such as PERM, EB-1A, EB-1B, EB-1C, NIW, and adjustment of status.

• Extensive experience managing complex Requests for Evidence (RFEs), Notices of Intent to Deny (NOIDs), and other difficult case challenges.

• Experience collaborating directly with startups and smaller corporate clients, including guidance on immigration strategies as businesses expand.

• Demonstrated success in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

• Exceptional communication and writing abilities.

• Strong organizational skills.

• Proven capability to manage multiple competing priorities independently.

• Excellent attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills.

• Submission of a resume, cover letter, and writing sample is required.
