This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Oversee a varied caseload from initiation to resolution.
• Perform case evaluations, formulate litigation strategies, and counsel clients on risk assessment and potential liabilities.
• Draft and present dispositive motions.
• Prepare trial briefs.
• Supervise discovery processes, including the preparation of expert witnesses.
• Assist in the preparation and filing of lawsuits aimed at recovering funds from liable third parties.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to devise effective case strategies.
• Advocate for clients in mediations, arbitrations, depositions, hearings, and trials.
• Establish and nurture strong client relationships.
• Provide clients with regular and timely updates regarding case status, strategies, and potential outcomes.
• Collaborate with adjusters, recovery specialists, and external counsel to pursue recoveries effectively.
• Remain informed about legal developments.
• 3-7 years of litigation experience, ideally within the commercial transportation/trucking sector.
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active and in good standing with the Pennsylvania bar; required.
• New York Bar license is a plus.
• Outstanding legal research, writing, and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proven capability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines concurrently.
