This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Oversee and coordinate educational, administrative, and counseling initiatives for high school students.

• Ensure that educational programs are in compliance with state and local school board standards.

• Research and implement non-K12 curriculum resources that align with state standards as necessary.

• Convey the school’s mission and vision while fostering collaboration among stakeholders.

• Utilize communication technologies to facilitate a primarily virtual/remote work environment.

• Guarantee adherence to local, state, and federal regulations concerning special education and categorical programs.

• Address student attendance and engagement compliance involving students, families, courts, and local districts.

• Develop and oversee the execution of the Student Achievement Improvement Plan.

• Supervise and evaluate the performance of teaching staff.

• Manage teacher performance and offer professional development training.

• Oversee Master and Lead Teachers and their respective programs.

• Consult with teachers, students, and parents regarding educational and behavioral issues.

• Coordinate with teachers and K12 Enrollment concerning expulsions and withdrawals.

• Directly supervise 15–30 full-time equivalent (FTE) regular employees and/or contractors.

• Conduct interviews, hire, train, assign, direct, evaluate, reward, and discipline employees; address complaints and resolve issues.


⛳️ Requirements

• Possession of a Florida 5 Year Professional Educational Leadership Certificate.

• Must be a resident of Florida.

• Prior supervisory experience is required.

• A Master’s degree along with five (5) years of educational experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Ability to pass a mandatory background check.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio.

• Internet proficiency.

• Willingness to travel 20% of the time for meetings, professional development, etc.
