This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist the Principal in leading and managing a statewide virtual instructional program.
• Oversee, mentor, support, and evaluate designated instructional staff.
• Carry out observations, walkthroughs, coaching discussions, and performance evaluations.
• Aid in the execution of curriculum, teaching programs, interventions, technology, and school enhancement initiatives.
• Track student achievement, growth, attendance, engagement, and course performance.
• Collaborate with teachers, interventionists, Student Success, Special Populations, and school administrators to implement academic support.
• Utilize student performance and assessment data to inform instructional decisions and school improvement efforts.
• Stay informed about Arkansas literacy requirements and support evidence-based literacy practices, assessments, and interventions.
• Foster communication with students and families while addressing escalated concerns.
• Assist the Principal with reporting, documentation, student records, and compliance procedures.
• Support state and internal assessments, including test preparation, participation, and family communication.
• Contribute to school-wide planning, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.
• Maintain regular communication with the Principal regarding staff performance, student achievement, operational needs, and concerns.
• Cultivate a positive, professional, and student-focused school culture.
• Engage in testing, school events, professional development, in-service training, graduation, field trips, meetings, and other school activities.
• Ensure an effective remote work environment and travel as necessary.
• Undertake additional responsibilities assigned by the Principal or Executive Director.
• Prior experience in school leadership or administration is required.
• K–12 teaching experience is necessary.
• A valid Arkansas Administrator License/Certificate is required.
• A Master’s degree or higher in education, educational leadership, or a related field is essential.
• Must obtain and retain the required Science of Reading Assessor Credentials.
• Strong understanding of instruction, student achievement, data analysis, and school improvement practices.
• Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to effectively coach, supervise, and assist staff.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic virtual environment.
• High level of technology proficiency and aptitude for learning new systems and platforms.
• Exceptional professionalism, flexibility, initiative, and discretion.
• Willingness to travel for testing, school events, professional development, and other necessary activities.
• Must be able to utilize a personal electronic device and email for two-step authentication.
