This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +13 more states.
• Oversee and nurture frontline managers, team leaders, and personnel within revenue cycle operations.
• Supervise daily operations to ensure that performance benchmarks, productivity goals, and service quality are achieved.
• Foster accountability, collaboration, and ongoing enhancement.
• Guarantee prompt and precise execution of billing, cash posting, collections, accounts receivable follow-up, and denial management.
• Assess workflow distribution and modify resources to satisfy client demands.
• Report operational risks or challenges to senior management.
• Detect inefficiencies and propose process enhancements.
• Assist in the implementation of standardized workflows, policies, best practices, automation, and AI-driven solutions.
• Cultivate relationships with client contacts and operational leaders.
• Engage in client meetings and deliver updates on performance and initiatives.
• Address client issues and ensure prompt resolution of concerns.
• Monitor and evaluate KPIs, productivity metrics, and financial results.
• Create presentations, reports, and dashboards for leadership and clients.
• Identify trends and suggest corrective measures.
• Ensure compliance with CMS guidelines, payer regulations, and billing/coding standards.
• Support quality assurance initiatives, audits, and corrective measures.
• Assist in budget compliance, staffing, productivity, operational costs, and forecasting.
• Enhance revenue cycle systems and workflows.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams and vendors to address system challenges.
• Facilitate onboarding, training, education, mentoring, and career development.
• Provide operational insights for sales discussions, client presentations, proposals, and service enhancements.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 7 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle services, particularly in a hospital setting.
• Minimum of 3 years in a leadership capacity.
• Familiarity with various EHR systems, including MEDHOST, Oracle/Cerner, Meditech, or EPIC revenue cycle software products and their applications.
• Demonstrated client relationship management skills.
• Experience with multi-facility organizations, including rural health/community hospitals.
• Willingness to travel to hospital locations or events as required, up to 25% of the time.
• Understanding of hospital operations and clinical/financial workflows.
• Exceptional written, proofreading, and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong judgment, attention to detail, organizational skills, multitasking capability, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.
• Ability to collaborate within a team environment and lead projects within the designated focus area.
• Adaptable with a positive attitude and the capacity to maintain professionalism in high-pressure situations.
• Capability to handle and safeguard confidential information.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Copilot.
