This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee designated REO property portfolios from acquisition to final sale.
• Organize acquisition processes, inspections, marketing initiatives, property disposition, preservation, repairs, security, trash removal, landscaping, and utility management.
• Collaborate with vendors, agents, attorneys, internal teams, clients, investors, insurers, and regulatory bodies.
• Track property timelines, compliance obligations, KPIs, service level agreements, vendor performance, days on market, liquidation schedules, and recovery rates.
• Examine and maintain property records, including occupancy status, valuations, title reports, tax information, and compliance documentation.
• Address title challenges, code violations, occupancy issues, eviction processes, and Cash for Keys negotiations.
• Request, assess, and follow up on BPOs, Supplemental BPOs, and appraisals; establish suitable listing prices.
• Generate monthly performance reports and modify marketing strategies on a monthly basis.
• Provide rotating or on-demand cross-functional assistance for pre-marketing, eviction coordination, title management, closing services, and claims processing.
• Verify foreclosure deed recordings, investigate tax information, input title data, and liaise with recording offices and tax authorities.
• Manage contracts, closing documentation, attorney invoices, title commitments, redemption timelines, and abandonment approvals.
• Report insurable events, submit insurance claim bids and documentation, and coordinate remediation and repairs.
• Support process enhancements, uphold confidentiality, and adhere to regulatory standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in REO, asset management, mortgage servicing, or equivalent roles.
• Solid understanding of REO operations, timelines, investor guidelines, and property preservation methodologies.
• Familiarity with foreclosure, eviction, and post-sale procedures and requirements.
• Exceptional organizational, communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to juggle multiple priorities and meet competing deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and REO management systems such as RES.NET, Equator, Pyramid, Salesforce, or similar platforms.
• Strong skills in vendor management and stakeholder relationship development.
• Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with care and professionalism.
• Preferred: experience across various REO operational functions.
• Preferred: knowledge of title research and tax information systems.
• Preferred: experience in closing or closing coordination.
• Preferred: awareness of state-specific foreclosure, eviction, and post-sale legal requirements.
• Preferred: experience in processing or coordinating insurance claims.
• Preferred: proven success in mentoring or training junior team members.
