Asset Management Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist the Asset Management team in addressing commercial, operational, contractual, compliance, and lender-related issues in collaboration with cross-functional partners.

• Provide support in financial planning and analytics for operating assets, including monthly revenue and expense accruals, tracking plant improvements, and assessing the financial impacts related to business operations.

• Evaluate monthly project-level P&L statements, analyze variance drivers, and forecast cash flows, delivering summaries and insights for portfolio managers.

• Contribute to the annual budgeting process by analyzing asset performance, standardizing fleet-wide assumptions, and aiding in long-term financial planning.

• Review operational and financial KPIs on a monthly basis, recognizing trends, risks, and opportunities to enhance asset performance and operational efficiency.

• Calculate, verify, and report on Availability, Performance Ratio, and energy yield metrics.

• Prepare dashboards, lender reports, stakeholder updates, and perform ad-hoc analyses.

• Oversee reporting cycles by maintaining trackers, consolidating inputs, and ensuring timely communication of financial, operational, and contractual obligations.

• Improve reporting tools, standardize processes, enhance data quality, and contribute to the development of best-practice workflows.

• Execute additional job-related responsibilities as assigned by management.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, finance, economics, environmental studies, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in renewable energy, asset management, project finance, operations, or a similar field.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across diverse workstreams.

• Strong problem-solving abilities, self-motivated, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

• Capacity to research independently, comprehend, and apply knowledge in new areas.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with VBA, Power BI, or similar reporting and analytics tools is advantageous.

• Outstanding organizational skills and work ethic to meet critical deadlines.
