Assessment & Evaluation Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Work closely with the project Principal Investigator (PI) and maintain regular communication regarding the status of the project.

• Act as a statistical consultant to the project PI.

• Integrate, analyze, and interpret quantitative data effectively.

• Conduct comprehensive literature searches and reviews of existing research pertinent to evaluation projects and papers.

• Compose and compile detailed client reports that summarize and present findings.

• Provide recommendations for program enhancements, policies, and subsequent research initiatives.

• Collaborate with the team and clients in the planning of follow-up studies.

• Engage in the dissemination of results from completed studies.

• Support multiple studies as needed to augment senior-level project management and research efforts by CRRE staff.

• Contribute to evaluation studies utilizing mixed-methods data collection and offer expertise in advanced statistical techniques.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s Degree in statistics or a related education program with a strong focus on statistics.

• Six years of experience as a quantitative researcher on applied research initiatives.

• Additional education may compensate for the required experience according to the JHU equivalency formula.

• Additional relevant experience may replace required education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent.

• Pre-employment background check is mandatory.

• Preferred: PhD in Statistics or a related education program emphasizing statistics and quantitative research methods.

• Preferred: Over five years of experience as a lead quantitative education researcher.

• Preferred: Prior experience, knowledge, and skills in applied statistics, especially in hierarchical linear modeling and multivariate analyses.
