ASL & BASL Video Data Contributor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Record 1,000 brief videos based on provided ASL or BASL prompts.

• Adhere to setup guidelines, which include positioning (sitting/standing), device arrangement, and lighting conditions.

• Upload videos and engage in onboarding sessions as well as periodic check-ins.

• Operate independently while adhering to project deadlines.

• Capture short, voice-assistant-style commands, covering everyday phrases, common requests, and conversational cues.

• Complete recordings at home using an Apple device.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in ASL or BASL, or have completed at least 2 semesters of college-level ASL.

• Utilize ASL or BASL on a daily basis.

• Minimum competency in reading and writing English.

• Must have access to an Apple device (iPhone, iPad, MacBook, or iMac).

• Reliable internet connection is essential.

• Comfortable with using the device/camera and following detailed instructions.
