Artificial Intelligence Researcher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Remain at the leading edge of Generative AI and Agentic AI, encompassing LLMs, multimodal models, tool-augmented agents, and agentic workflows.

• Create, prototype, and thoroughly assess specialized AI agents designed for comprehensive insurance workflows.

• Convert business challenges into effective agentic systems, including task decomposition, context and prompt design, tool integration, memory strategies, and sophisticated evaluation methodologies.

• Assume responsibility for AI systems from problem identification and benchmarking to production deployment, monitoring, and ongoing enhancement.

• Contribute to internal frameworks, benchmarks, and shared tools to expedite experimentation and the industrialization of agentic workflows.

• Work closely with product, engineering, and data teams to guarantee scalability and measurable business outcomes.

• Develop claim handling agents that automate tasks and processes, streamline the daily work of claim handlers, and improve the experience for the insured.

⛳️ Requirements

• You possess a PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related discipline.

• You have over 3 years of practical experience in designing and implementing AI systems, with significant exposure to Generative AI and LLM-based architectures.

• You have hands-on experience with prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, tool-augmented agents, and systematic evaluation of AI systems.

• You are adept at utilizing coding agents such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or Codex in your daily tasks.

• You are skilled in Python and contemporary AI frameworks (Microsoft Agent Framework, OpenAI Agents SDK, LangGraph).

• You exhibit autonomy, rigor, and a passion for addressing complex, high-impact real-world challenges.

• You are fluent in business English, as English is the primary working language.

• Proficiency in French is a considerable advantage.

• You have experience in developing and deploying AI agents in production settings.

• You have experience with multimodal models or AI-based document comprehension.

• You are proficient in C#.

• You have experience in the insurance sector.

• This position allows for full remote flexibility throughout France, although being near the Paris region is a distinct advantage.
