Artificial Intelligence Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and enhance solutions utilizing Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Generative AI.

• Create applications leveraging LLMs, RAG, and AI agents to streamline processes and derive insights.

• Establish and maintain APIs, backend services, and integrations within enterprise systems.

• Integrate AI solutions with databases, APIs, internal systems, and knowledge repositories.

• Assist in the development of data pipelines, embeddings, and semantic search functionalities.

• Participate in architectural decisions, scalability, security, and engineering best practices.

• Aid in the deployment, monitoring, and continuous enhancement of AI models and applications in a production environment.

• Work collaboratively with Product, Data, Engineering, and Business teams to deliver impactful solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or Generative AI.

• Understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, and APIs for generative models.

• Proficiency in Python development and creating APIs and backend services.

• Familiarity with relational and/or NoSQL databases.

• Knowledge of RAG, embeddings, vector databases, or semantic search.

• Understanding of data architecture, pipelines, and cloud platforms.

• Familiarity with Git, Docker, and principles of software engineering best practices.

• Experience with AI agents and multi-agent systems.

• Knowledge of frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, or similar technologies.

• Familiarity with MLOps, LLMOps, observability, and assessing LLM-powered applications.

• Knowledge of platforms such as Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, AWS Bedrock, Vertex AI, or similar technologies.

• Understanding of MCP, security, governance, and Responsible AI practices.

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

• Systems thinking skills and the capability to convert business needs into technical solutions.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working within multidisciplinary teams.

• Strong organizational skills, proactivity, and a commitment to delivering value.
