Art Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and deliver innovative assets for advertising, digital, and print formats utilizing GenAI tools.

• Convert creative briefs into refined outputs that align with project goals and visual identity.

• Contribute to major projects that showcase Pencil’s product capabilities.

• Oversee multiple creative requests while ensuring quality and consistency.

• Brief the Creative team and evaluate daily outputs.

• Conduct daily quality assessments on client presentations and provide feedback.

• Demonstrate AI creative workflows to clients.

• Work in collaboration with Producers, the Creative Director, and Product teams to ensure strategic coherence and technical viability.

• Offer insights on platform and AI tools, workflows, and user experience.

• Share ideas on GenAI storytelling and design.

• Keep track of emerging GenAI and design technologies.

• Identify techniques and workflows that enhance speed, consistency, and creative quality.

• Enhance creative systems, templates, and processes.

• Seek and implement feedback to refine skills and creative judgment.

• Report directly to Juliette Suvitha, Head of AI Creative & Enablement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience as an Art Director or in a similar role, preferably within advertising or digital production (essential).

• Practical experience with GenAI creative tools for image, video, and design generation (essential).

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud or comparable design applications (essential).

• Comfortable presenting creative work directly to clients (essential).

• Strong attention to visual identity, brand consistency, and craftsmanship (essential).

• A portfolio is required.

• Capable of managing multiple creative requests while ensuring quality and consistency.

• Ability to brief and critique others' work while remaining hands-on.

• Eagerness to explore emerging GenAI tools and techniques.

• Collaborative mindset when working with Producers, the Creative Director, and Product teams.
