Area Sales Manager, South East, London

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Expand and enhance KOMPAN’s business in the education sector within the South East/London region.

• Oversee sales opportunities in the education sector throughout the designated territory.

• Participate in customer meetings and site visits resulting from inbound inquiries, scheduled appointments, and self-initiated efforts.

• Cultivate relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in schools, academies, nurseries, colleges, universities, and other educational institutions.

• Comprehend customer goals, budgets, funding sources, timelines, and project specifications.

• Offer consultative guidance on playground, outdoor learning, sports, and activity solutions.

• Work collaboratively with internal teams to create designs, proposals, and quotations.

• Showcase KOMPAN solutions and illustrate their value effectively.

• Identify new opportunities through prospecting and developing relationships.

• Advance opportunities from initial engagement to final order.

• Keep precise sales pipelines and customer records in the CRM system.

• Strategically plan customer visits to optimize selling time and reduce unnecessary travel.

• Prepare and follow up on quotations, designs, and proposals.

• Negotiate commercially while safeguarding margin and value.

• Maintain communication with customers throughout the sales journey and report on projected order forecasts.

• Foster long-lasting relationships that lead to repeat business and referrals.

• Exceptional consultative sales and relationship-building capabilities.

• Outstanding face-to-face communication and presentation abilities.

• A commercial mindset with robust negotiation skills.

• An active approach to new business development.

• Strong management of territory, schedule, and time.

• Capability to understand customer requirements and convert them into appropriate solutions.

• Proficient in pipeline and CRM management.

• Ability to juggle multiple projects and opportunities at once.

• Self-driven, organized, and results-oriented.

• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

• Readiness and ability to work in a field-based role, travel to customer meetings and site visits, spending most days on the road.
